dana

Behold! This is the first entyry on my new Dana, the word processor by AlphaSmart. I look foward to writing many more things, and feel that the path towards getting my ideas written out has opened up considerably with this new acquisition. Unfortunately, I did not receive an instruction manual with it, so I'm not sure how to use it to its full extent (but I think I'm smart enough to figure it out). Furthermore, I need to buy some batteries, because I don't have an AC adapter, and I stole the ones from two different remotes.
This thing is so slick. It turns off and on with one button and takes no time to boot up. It even brings me right up where I was the last time I turned it off.. HOW COOL IS THAT?!
Did I mention it runs Palm software? Now that's not the main focus, but it is a nice little bonus. I really like this thing, I REALLY REALLY like it. All I need is a memory card, an AC adapter, and a little carrying case and I'll be all set.
I can even take the batteries out and it keeps my place, so I'm assuming that if my batteries die, that it will remember what I had done. COOL HUH?!
Additionally, I can sync it with whatever text field I'm in, such as this here Xanga field. Now this is handy!

........?

Oh yeah, baseball started. Do I care? Nope. Why? Well.......baseball is.....retarded, because all the players are either pumped on steroids, pulling muscles, or just not good at all.

A Solution to my Problem.....

Ok, so, it's not a BIG problem, but.....you see.....I like to write, and I have written several things.....the problem is that I can't always write and when I can, I don't always feel like it (I'd like to be a writer and if that were my job I'd be more motivated....I PROMISE). Oh sure, there's pencil and paper, but it's a PAAAAAAAAAIN to transcribe onto Word from a physical writing. What's the solution?......a new Palm Pilot battery and infrared keyboard! That way, I could write whatever, whenever! I have a Palm Pilot, but the battery is defunct, and if that's not the problem, a Tungsten E is cheap on eBay, and I'd already have a replacement battery. A keyboard isn't too much, and, considering I could write wherever whenever (i.e., play practice, long survey car rides, waiting at job sites, etc.) it seems like a good investment (especially since I'm almost done with the Rurouni Kenshin series I've been reading during the aforementioned activities). Course, now I'd need a memory card (cause I've lost mine and the 4 gig doesn't work) and get my computer organized (PAIN.....me = lazy) but still.......maybe now I could get the stuff in my head out (tons of ideas), and, sometimes a new toy is just what you need to get you back in the groove

Prayer Request

Today, my grandmother passed away. As a lot of you know, she had been sick for sometime, but now, she's in heaven, which is a far better state than here.  If you could pray for my family, especially my dad, that would be appreciated. If you could also pray that Christ is seen through my family to those that grandma knew that weren't Christians, that would be appreciated as well. A lot of our relatives are not saved and perhaps this would be a time when they would come to know Him.
